New Clinic For After-Hours Care

Summit Orthopedics has opened a new clinic for Twin Cities’ residents who need quick and convenient orthopedic care after 5 p.m.

The new clinic, OrthoQUICK, is open from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. It is located at Woodwinds Health Campus at 1875 Woodwinds Dr., Suite 150 in Woodbury.

Immediate orthopedic care is important but hard to find when an unexpected muscle or joint injury occurs after normal business hours. OrthoQUICK is designed to help people of all ages and activity levels experience less down time from an injury and resume an active lifestyle as quickly as possible.

Says Dr. Eric Khetia, a sports medicine specialist with Summit Orthopedics: “It can take several days or more to schedule an appointment with an orthopedic physician. At OrthoQUICK, you do not need to make an appointment; therefore, injuries can be seen and evaluated immediately.”

OrthoQUICK is staffed by experts in orthopedic care from Summit Orthopedics. Types of injuries physicians and physicians’ assistants will tend to include traumatic injuries such as fractures, sprains, and muscle strains. Traumatic injuries are those suffered from a collision during an athletic event or a sudden movement while performing some other strenuous activity.
