Summit Orthopedics’ Physicians Named Best Doctors for Women

Three physicians from Summit Orthopedics were named 2008 Best Doctors for Women by Minnesota Monthly Magazine.

Each year Minnesota Monthly Magazine recognizes Twin Cities area physicians in all specialties for their work with female patients. Those named Best Doctors are recognized by their peers; the magazine asks more than 5,500 area doctors to “name the physicians they’d recommend to their wives, daughters, and female family members and friends.”

This year’s honorees in the orthopedics/sports medicine category include the following physicians with Summit Orthopedics: Dr. Peter Daly, Dr. Jack Drogt, and Dr. James Gannon.

Dr. Peter Daly specializes in shoulder, knee, and hip problems, and performing total joint replacements and reconstruction. He also has specialized training and a specific interest in sports medicine.

Dr. Jack Drogt specializes in hip, knee, and shoulder disorders and injuries with an emphasis on adult joint replacement and fracture care.

Dr. James Gannon specializes in the treatment of shoulder and knee injuries with an emphasis on sports medicine and arthroscopy, as well as total joint replacements.
