Dr. Stromwall Helps Olympians

Dr. Amy Stromwall, a sports medicine specialist and swimming enthusiast, has been selected to care for U.S. Olympic swimmers in preparation for the Beijing Summer Olympics.

Dr. Stromwall of Summit Orthopedics will oversee the health of the Olympians and provide her expertise for two weeks at training camp.

Dr. Stromwall has intimate knowledge of conditioning, and treating aches and pains of swimmers. At Burnsville High School and Hamline University, both in St. Paul, she was a standout swimmer, and as a physician she sees and treats amateur and professional swimmers.

“I am very excited about the opportunity to ensure our swimmers are in peak health for the Olympics,” says Dr. Stromwall.

In addition to swimmers, Dr. Stromwall treats all athletes and has a special interest in women’s health.
