Southern California Orthopedic Institute is proud to welcome total joint replacement specialist, Dr. Jaime D. Hernandez, to its team of experts.

Specializing in the hip, knee and shoulder, Dr. Hernandez’s expertise will extend the practice’s treatment options to include total hip replacements for patients. Dr. Hernandez has begun seeing patients in Southern California Orthopedic Institute’s Van Nuys office at 6815 Noble Avenue.

Dr. Hernandez, a graduate of Cornell University, acquired his doctor of medicine degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. A native of Easton, Pennsylvania, Dr. Hernandez completed his orthopedic surgery residency at The State University of New York before finishing his adult reconstruction fellowship at Harvard Medical School Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Southern California Orthopedic Institute’s renowned team of experts, and I look forward to helping those in need of orthopedic care,” says Dr. Hernandez.

In addition to specializing in patient care, Dr. Hernandez has an extensive background as an orthopedic author and researcher. He has completed research at Cornell University, Harvard School of Public Health, University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine and Northwestern Center for Orthopedics in addition to completing two procedural publications.
