Dr. Bojan B. Zoric Keeps 2012 Olympic Gold-Medal-Winning Team Safe
Dr. Bojan B. Zoric, hip, knee, and shoulder surgeon at Sports Medicine North has been working with the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team for the past four years. As one of the team’s official physicians, Dr. Zoric traveled with the team to London for the 2012 Olympic Games.
In October, Dr. Zoric joined the gold-medal-winning team on the field once again, treating the athletes at their game against second-ranked Germany at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut.
"Working with the U.S. Women’s National Team has been an absolutely spectacular experience," Dr. Zoric says. “I consider myself very fortunate to be able to continue working with these stellar athletes.”
The U.S. Women’s National Team Fan Tribute Tour consists of 10 games played throughout the year following the 2012 London Olympic Games. The team has already played in several venues across the country, and Dr. Zoric will serve as an official team physician at all of the games close to Peabody, Massachusetts, should the existing schedule allow.
